Anonymous asked: What kind of home school projects do your children do?
This is very broad. It is all over the place and many examples can be found in my tags or by digging back.
Off the top of my head, in the last couple of years, they’ve dressed up as historical and mythological characters and done presentations as that chosen character, several times, for PATH events; Annie’s had a lot of book reports and cooked recipes relevant to things we’re learning; Aaron has caught, collected and hatched caterpillars he identifies with a book he picked out at the library; we’ve done a Harry Potter unit study; Story of the World history inspired personal timelines; there was the PATH science fair (Annie did a volcano, Aaron made fire with flint and steel, I don’t remember Isaac and the others were too young) with project boards and experiments; felt Christmas tree with stickable ornaments and 4th of July flag cakes they apply berries to; I don’t know if GMYS concerts playing their instruments “count.”
